So I’m faced with a unique and awesome problem. There are too many beer events coming up lately! So, because I will not be able to attend them all, I wanted to give you a heads-up about a few of them so that you can find one near you to enjoy.

Dogfish comes to Novare Res – Free admission, pay by the beer
A classic summer event at Noavre Res in Portland, ME, this year will feature 30+ Dogfish Head Beers on tap and (most likely) Sam Caligone hanging around as well. No tickets needed, just show up and get some good DFH beer!
Bates Mill Concert Series featuring The Pete Kilpatrick Band, Lewiston, ME – $10
Sponsored by Baxter Brewing, this concert is the last of a summer-long series that takes place right in the Bates Mill. The Baxter Tasting room will also be open to sample tasty Baxter beer. So if you’re in the area stop by! For more info/tickets: Baxter Brewing Concert Series
Saturday, August 18
RedHook Fest, Portsmouth NH – $25
Outdoor venue, groovy music, good beer? I’m in. This annual tradition features fun bands and is just a great summer festival. RedHook beer will be flowing, and the band moe will be headlining. For more info/tickets: Red Hook’s Events. Bring a chair/blanket and catch some tunes under the (hopefully) sunny skies of Potsmouth.
Brew at the Zoo, Boston, MA – $50 advance / $60 door
Brew at the Zoo is a “beer tasting” event in its 3rd year that features stations hosted by local breweries, restaurants and caterers – as well as an opportunity to stroll among the animals in the zoo’s signature Tropical Forest Pavilion, which is home to western lowland gorillas, a giant anteater, ring-tailed lemurs, and many other species. LOTS of great new local breweries are in for this year’s event. More info/tickets: Franklin Park Zoo
Blues ‘n Brews, Nashoba Valley Ski Area, MA – $30 advance / $35 door
Blues and beer seem to go perfectly together, and this charity fundraising event takes advantage of that. Featuring regional breweries and a special cask-conditioned booth, there will also be BBQ and other food to enjoy. More info/tickets: Blues N Brews
